But if the Forgiving Victim is forgiving us, surely it follows that we must also forgive ourselves? None of us is perfect we are all carrying baggage, but I think that ultimately we realise that the quest for God is nothing more than finding God in the other, regardless of how broken that person appears to us. Just as broken as ourselves?
